Through its wholly-owned subsidiary Lima One Capital, acquired in July 2021, MFA also originates and services business purpose loans directly to real estate investors on a nationwide basis. The company focuses its investment strategy on residential mortgage credit fundamentals, with an emphasis on credit analysis, prepayment projections, and interest rate sensitivity. ↗
