Founded in Nashville in 2000, the firm grew through a combination of acquisitions and organic expansion to become one of the larger regional banks in the Southeast. In July 2025, Pinnacle entered into a merger agreement with Synovus, with the combined entity set to continue as Pinnacle Financial Partners, Inc., headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. ↗
