Preferred Stock AI (“we,” “us,” or “the Site”) operates preferredstock.ai. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The Site is operated by Madison Labs. Questions? Use our contact form.
The short version
We don’t sell your data, we don’t make you create an account or a password, and we collect as little as possible. The only personal detail we ever store is an email address — and only if you choose to save favorites.
What we collect
- Favorites email (optional). If you save a security to your favorites, we ask for an email address so your list persists and reloads when you return. That email is used only to store and retrieve your watchlist. No password, no account.
- Basic server logs. Like virtually every website, our server records standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability. These logs are not used to personally identify you.
- Cookies. We use a small number of cookies to remember your display preferences (such as your chosen theme and plain-English vs. expert mode) and your favorites email. See “Cookies and advertising” below.
We do not collect financial-account information, Social Security numbers, or payment details, and we never ask you to enter a password.
Cookies and advertising
The Site may display advertising provided by Google AdSense and other third-party vendors. In connection with serving ads:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site and/or other sites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
Analytics
The Site uses Google Analytics, a web-analytics service provided by Google LLC, to help us understand how visitors use the Site — for example, which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and how long they stay. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to collect standard internet log information and aggregated visitor-behavior data, including approximate location derived from a truncated IP address and device and browser type. This information is processed in a way that does not personally identify you, and we use it only in aggregate to improve the Site’s content and performance.

Some links on the Site may be affiliate links. If you click one and open an account or make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence the data we show or how securities are ranked — yields, par values, call dates, and other figures come from market data and SEC filings, not from advertisers.
How we use information
- To provide and maintain the Site and its features (such as favorites).
- To keep the Site secure and to diagnose technical problems.
- To display advertising that helps keep the Site free.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address or personal information.
Data sources
Market and dividend data are powered by Tiingo. Company reference data, prospectuses, and filings are sourced from SEC EDGAR. We are not affiliated with these providers.
Your choices
- You can browse the entire Site without giving us any personal information.
- You can remove your favorites email at any time using the sign-out control in the Site header.
- You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; some preferences may not be remembered if you do.
- To request deletion of a stored favorites email, use our contact form.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for adults making their own research decisions and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
